Our office renovation is finally completed. This has resulted in an open, bright and welcoming space that motivates our employees and promotes team work.
8/2011:
Athenica has signed a $6,000,000.00 (six million dollar) contract with the New York City School Construction Authority. The contract includes environmental consulting services for Asbestos, lead, mold and PCB’s.
4/2011:
Athenica has completed the Asbestos, Lead, PCB’s Inspection and provided specifications for the demolition a two building Community Center located in New City, NY. The project was awarded to Athenica by DCAK-MSA Architecture and it also includes the Asbestos Project Management and Air Monitoring during the abatement of more than 25,000 square/linear feet of Asbestos. This project is estimated to be over $100,000.00.
3/2011:
As the lowest qualified bidder, Athenica is awaiting the award of at least two contracts for Asbestos and Lead Inspection Services by the NYC Department of Homeless Services. The two years contracts are estimated to be approximately $150,000.00.
1/2011:
The CAMP and oversight of the remedial activities at PS133K was successfully completed. The total contract value exceeded $350,000.00
1/2011:
Athenica was awarded and successfully completed the “Site Investigation and Work Plan Implementation” of three NYCHA sites. The contract was approximately $50,000.00
10/2010:
Our company was selected and awarded two Lead inspection services contracts totaling over $380,000.00 by the NYCHA.
3/2010:
Athenica is implementing a Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) and Site-specific Health & Safety Plan (HASP) during the construction of a new public school in Brooklyn, New York. The total contract value exceeds $250,000. The CAMP entails real-time monitoring of airborne levels of particulates and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) at the downwind and upwind perimeters of the Site. For the HASP, Athenica’s health and safety officer evaluates worker exposure to airborne contaminants and establishes appropriate levels of worker personal and respiratory protection based on worker exposure monitoring results.
