"E" Site Designation Services

Athenica offers environmental consulting services to its clients in New York City who are considering development of properties that have a zoning designation of “E” for hazardous materials. 
The City of New York (the “City”) requires that a property with an “E” zoning designation for Hazardous Materials to be investigated and remediated to its satisfaction prior to issuance of a Certificate Occupancy. 

To achieve the removal of the “E” zoning designation by the City, our environmental consulting services typically will include:

• Phase I ESA
• Preparation and submission of an investigation work plan to the NY City Office and Enviromental Remediation for its review and approval
• Testing at the Site in accordance with an approved work plan
• Preparation of final report documenting the results of the testing
• If warranted, preparation and submission of a remediation work plan to the City for its review and approval
• Oversight of remediation, including Site development activities that also functions as a remedy
• Preparation and submission of a final remediation report to the City
